22nd Annual Sespe Creek Car Show & Chili Cook Off

The 2011 Sespe Creek Car Show & Chili Cook-off is presented by the Santa Clara Valley Youth Explorer Post #2958, with Fillmore & Western Railways assistance.
We are bringing back the chili cook-off for the Fourth of July. We are in need of chili/salsa cooks. If interested visit www.chilicookoff.com (http://www.chilicookoff.com/) to register.
Open to cars 1974 and older.
Gates open at 7:30am - awards at 3pm
Benefiting the Santa Clara Valley Youth Explorers.
The car show and chili cook-off will be on Monday, July 4, 2011 from 10 am - 5pm. We will have the car show, as well as a chili cook-off, craft and food vendors, live entertainment, and much more.
This is open for the general public with no admission fee.
There is a fee to enter your car or to enter the chili cook-off. There is a small fee for the chili tasting tickets.
The city of Fillmore is one of the last best small towns in California. It also is the only town in the county of Ventura that sells safe and sane fireworks. If you come to see the car show in the day, you can stick around and light fireworks in the night, as well as view the city's professional firework display. This is a great event that has been around for many years.
The Explorers and police department are looking forward to presenting a great event this year.
