We're ready for Phase 2 of the pilot testing...

Thanks for helping us test. We have made it over a couple of hurdles and hope to announce the forum to the public by March 30th. We would like to increase the load of testing. To do this, we ask that you let others know about http://www.WestCoastGearHeads.com. I would like to see 50-100 additional members added before we open the site to the public.

We still have a few items to work on but, the initial structure is pretty much complete. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be working on the artwork and basic theme.

The main things that will change are:
- Sub-Forum names and descriptions might be altered or added.
- The header at the top, where on the left it shows the phpBB logo and the far right showing the site name.
- Some of the fonts.
- Banner placement
- BBCode buttons for message posting
- There is a possibility that the "Download" and "Knowledge Base" tabs at the top of the page may change to a more appropriate name.
- The main web page (outside of the forum) will be changed to a more professional look.

I will add to this message, if there are other changes planned.
Let us know, if you have any suggestions or thoughts. And, by all means, please tell us know what you think of the site!

I think it is fricken sweet the way you are going with this site... :) Keep it up as it is great! I love the banner logo too by the way!! I have stolen it and placed it in my banner lineup for you at my sites... :) You are welcome to steal mine... :) ;)

Thanks Gary! I'm hoping that when start pushing it over the next couple of months it will take off well. I'm taking a different approach on the advertising at the moment. To start, I'm going to rely on the signatures for ad management and I have a vendor forum. The only ad banner I'm using right now is at the bottom of the index page for this website and another forum I'm developing - AssoicateTalk.com. The strategy going forward will be similar but, with a few additions.
