• Red Line Corvettes Annual All Corvette Show 9/19/2010

On a beautiful warm day on September 19 in Thousand Oaks, approximately 100 immaculate Corvettes glistened on the lawn at Conejo Creek Park in Thousand Oaks. Vintage as well as modern Corvettes were displayed for the public. A silent auction and raffle kept show attendees and spectators busy throughout the day. The local Elks club sold BBQ tri-tip sandwiches, the smell which was heavenly.

Red Line Corvettes, along with the Thousand Oaks Police Department and the Conejo Recreation and Parks District, hosted this yearly fundraiser. This marks the 17th year for the popular show. Proceeds from the show support the Thousand Oaks Police Explorer Program and Hospice of the Conejo. Multiple awards were handed out with the Best of Show being a restored 1954 Corvette updated with a modern LS9 Supercharged engine. Be sure to check out the HUGE carbon fiber brakes! It's new counterpart was parked right next to it. They made quite the impressive display! Congratulations to the owners, they are awesome rides!

We were also treated to a gorgeous Rossi SixtySix, which was on it’s way to SEMA in Las Vegas. Rossi's are built in Kentucky. Go to their website to learn more about this beautiful automobile! http://www.purerossi.com/frameset.html

Here are some more photos of Corvettes entered in the show. The cars were judged on condition as well as cleanliness. Judges were known to run their fingers underneath tight spots checking for dirt!
