Talk Show: Horsepower for an Hour
This event promises to be packed with entertainment and cool surprises. The city of Van Nuys is blocking some of their streets to show case Classics, Hot Rods, Street Rods, and more. Check out this car show on Sept 17th

Automotive Car Show to include hundreds of classic, hot rod, and street rods
- Participants in the car show contest will receive commemorative event pins and dash plaques.
- Car show contest winners will receive trophies/plaques to be presented by elected government officials and/or entertainment celebrities.
- Vending booths throughout Van Nuys Government Center Plaza
- food, merchandise and automotive theme
- Marching Band
- Light live entertainment throughout the day
- K-Earth 101 (Promotional Contributions)
- Peterson Automotive Museum (Promotional Contributions)
- Budweiser promotional gifts to be handed out at event
The event will be contained within the following boundaries:
- North End
- Sylvan St. from Van Nuys Blvd. to Tyrone Ave.
- South End
- Aetna St. from Van Nuys Blvd. to Tyrone Ave.
- West End
- Van Nuys Blvd. from Sylvan St. to Aetna St.
- East End
- Tyrone Ave. from Sylvan St. to Aetna St.
- Delano St. from Van Nuys Blvd. to Tyrone Ave.
- Sylmar Ave. from Delano St. to Bessemer St.
- Calvert St. from Van Nuys Blvd. to Tyrone Ave
- Parking will be provided at MTA Park & Ride located at Van Nuys Orange Line Station on Aetna St. at Van Nuys Blvd.
