Julie and I were invited to a joint Christmas Party hosted by Donny and Susie Caccamise, who own Horsepower for an Hour and DMC Transmissions in Ventura. We met some great people, who are serious about their technical skills and customer service. 2011 was a rough year for me... after every car event (a few a month), my knee would swell and I wouldn't be able to walk for a few days. Mid-year, I was sent to physical therapy, but that didn't help. After procrastinating, I finally asked the doc for an MRI, that showed a torn meniscus which was fixed yesterday and now I'm recovering. . Crap - I first started feeling the pain at the gym a year ago.

2011 is wrapping-up and the holidays are upon us. There are tons of charity events happening throughout the remainder of December and as much as we would like to attend all the events, there's always something the limits us. But, there are so many less fortunate people that have limitations too. We hope your generosity extends to the needy this holiday by attending as many of the the special holiday charity events as possible.

We've endured so many problems with running this website on a shared web host and have reached a point where we've out-grown the server. We're currently testing a Virtual Server and will be moving soon. Registered users will receive an email alert telling them that the access to WestCoastGearHeads.com may be intermittent while the domain name re-points to the new server.

At approximately 12noon PDT today, the server that WestCoastGearHeads.com resides went down. It's 4:15 and the server seems to be consistently up, but we might have suffered a hit to the database. We're checking into this and will let you know, if we need to take the system down to repair the damage.
