    Coffee and Cars 1.22.10

I woke up this morning at 4 am, and couldn't go back to sleep. At 4:15 am I got up and decide to go to Coffee and Cars in Irvine. Amazing how fast you can drive through LA with no traffic at all. Took me about a hour and half to get there. Here are a few pictures that I took. There were so many different type of cars there. I recommend anyone to go to this meet. I had a great time looking to see what everyone drives.

No less than 150 cars. I left at 9 am and there were cars still pulling into the parking lot. There was so many people there. Everyone starts showing up at 530, I pulled in at 6. The lot was over half full. There were about 15-20 Corvette and Mustangs each. My favorite was the Ferrari in the picture above. It was flat pearl white, amazing paint job. A 4 GTRs, I'm starting to like that car more and more. We should all make a trip out there. I know we'd have to get up early, but it was well worth it.

I wish I had a Digital SLR. Kinda shopping for one, but my Canon point and shoot will have to do for now.

I've always wanted to take a drive down to the Cars 'n Coffee meet. The cruise to Irvine isn't so bad at 90 minutes but, the drive back is the killer. We could make a day of it. We can plan a couple of interesting stops on the way back... Hooters in Burbank comes to mind Have you been to SuperCar Sunday in Woodland Hills on the last Sunday of the month? They usually get 400+ cars parked at any given time. The next one is on Jan 30th, I'll send an email event alert out and start a new thread.

That was the technically the first meet I've been too. The other one was with other V owners, only 7 of us there, It was ok. The drive wasn't bad at all, only at where the 405 and 101 meet. A pit stop at Hooters sounds good to. I haven't been to that one, sounds like fun. It's on a Monday, I'm off on Mondays. My buddies haven't signed up for this website, I'll give them the info, maybe they can make it out.

Ah crud... I should have said the 30th since it's the last Sunday. I'll fix the date in my previous post so people don't get confused.

Do you have times for that meet. Hopefully I can get my wife to go. She works Sundays, but i think she might be sick on the 30th.

Been to Cars and Coffee couple times......Well worth the drive......Didn't park inside but parked next door...For the last few years on one Saturday in October Mazda allows the SoCal RX's club use the lot for Sevenstock.....Its the largest rotary powered event held in North America....The lot holds 400 cars so that is about how many show up for Cars and Coffee.....You definitely want to drive legal and obey all laws while leaving and entering this event......Irvine Police is always present and will pull you over for anything.....Here is the official website for photos of past events.......http://www.cncpics.com/main.php
