TIP: Making images smaller the easy way...

Not everyone has super-fast Internet connections; hence, the need to make images download faster. Microsoft has developed an easy image resizer (for Windows XP) as part of their free Power Tool collection. Once you download and install this small utility, you wil be able to click on one or multiple images and select the size picture you want. Within seconds, it creates separate files that are much, much smaller. The best part, you can decrease the size of the original image by about 80% without losing noticeble quality. I've been using this utlity for a few years and highly recommend it!
