Any body shops in Ventura County??????

Just wondering if anyone has experiences with body shops???? More specific, we are looking for one to do a complete paint job and body work that won't cost a arm and a leg......Got the 68 Mustang stripped down of parts and its ready to get painted......We had estimates of 800.00 from Maaco in Ventura to 8,500 to 10k from Saticoy Auto Body.....Any help is appreciated...............Thanks............

Frank, my brother just took his off-road truck to be painted to a body/paint shop on Callens Rd in Ventura. I'll find out the name and get back to you here. Turns out the guy painting his truck is my college roommates brother! Small world.

I had a fender flare, door handle, front bumper cover + air dam, and front grill surround all repaired and painted with 4 coats of clear for $650 by synergy motorsports in upland, kinda far but I couldn't find anyone closer that I could trust after looking at work they had done. My truck came back looking factory new. I would call them for an estimate because they warranty everything and have some really nice cars come out of that shop.

Thanks for the replies......I found a place in Van Nuys near my work and Kim had one of her clients tell her about another shop in Saticoy.....Its called Hub Autobody......Will take the 68 there next week for a estimate.....Thanks again..............

There another guy with a custom body shop in Camarillo that we met on a cruise. He is off Dawson over by the Smog place (starts with a K)

Glenn: Its Paint by Kevin.....He did my friend's Datsun 510 wagon.......I could check him also but my friend already warn me he top dollar........

Went here on Wednesday and the quote is 8k.......Kinda out of our price range...Heck, the car not even worth that........

Went here also on Wednesday and he was closed......Check with my friend and he said he talked to him two weeks ago.....Might be closed for spring break......
