1/4 Scale Ford Racing Alumninator Engine

Finally unboxed this puppy yesterday. It's been sitting in the garage for sometime. #300 something out of 1,000. I forget the total.

Been thinking of selling it, but it does look pretty sweet.

That's how my engine bay should look. I need to powder coat my covers and polish the blower!

I should get it. Paint the blower and COP covers matte black and it will look just like my motor!

Weren't those things really expensive when they first came on the market? Perhaps they still are.

but does it run? I built a running 4 cylinder SOHC motor, the spark plugs even blink with an adjustable timing distributor, heh.

The original 03 Cobra motor models went for $$$ on eBay, but were quite rare.

These are a replica of the Aluminator, basically the same thing, but prettier.

    You should pick it up.

The one Blind built more resembles the underhood of your Shelby. Perhaps he'll do a straight across trade with you. Plus, his is already assembled.
