After a Mustang show we entered in Mesa, Arizona in April of 2007, we had plans to drive up and see the Grand Canyon. I had never seen it before and it was on my "to-do" list. We had spent the night in Flagstaff. Flagstaff has mountains, pine trees and snow! It's a shock driving out of desert conditions into a mountain paradise.

I am an early riser and was able to snap some pics of a beautiful sunrise over Flagstaff.

An example of the lush countryside on the way out of Flagstaff.

The helicopter and airplane tours were doing good business the day we were going to the Canyon!

I was having a good hair day until we got to the canyon's edge. POOF!

After we left the Grand Canyon, we stopped at a trading post to shop a bit, of course. We couldn't resist taking shots of the car in front of some teepees. Especially being a MUSTANG, the pony of the Indians!

Later that afternoon, getting close to the California border, a beautiful sunset. 8-) That rounded the day out perfectly!
