    1988 Mustang GT T-top

    got it running but needs a lot more work i have a lifter noise so im going to tear it down alittle to find the noise and fix it then figure out the tuning issue!

    powerdyne 7psi kit, cobra intake, Tweecer, mac headers, pro 5.0 shifter, and bald tires!!!!!!!!!!

    Talk to me Goose... what did you do to get it running?

    I have a new noises in the engine bay and need to dig to find it.

    well i got the car running thanks to eric!!! i had a bunch of problems with the belt kept throwing it and ive been been busy because im getting all my graduation stuff done and all that.

    and the lifter noise was a bent pushrod. no contact! =) i did a compression check and it was fine. ive been driving it for a wile now.
    i still need some tuning done because im running way to rich on wot and its pinging or detinating so i gotta figure that out but ill let you guys know what happens.

    i would be posting more but im still figuring out the sight sbstangs was way more easy to get around !

    it's probably running lean if you think it's rich and pinging, it's so lean that it smells rich but it's really just not burning the gas because of too much air, probably a vacuum leak is causing it.

    The supercharger is gone, was going to buy a vert with a procharger but the guy was on glue.......

    so i wanna build a motor im going to have about 3500 to spend and wanna get a reliable 375-450hp. what are my options???

    stroker, supercharged, 351, idk. ....

    or if anyone has any motors for sale. let me know.
