Here's the first few photos for the Johnny Rockets Camarillo Toy Drive event held on Dec 17th. Close to 40 cars attended... not bad for a last minute event!
Johnny Rockets Camarillo wants to do this every year so plan to attend a huge "Cruizin with Johnny Rockets Camarillo Toy Run" event in 2012.
You might recognize most, if not all of these cars from our Cruizin with Johnny Rockets Camarillo Car Meets in 2010. I believe all of them are either on the walls in the Johnny Rockets Camarillo restaurant or in their photo album (available upon request).
If you did not know about this or any other events, REGISTER for free and get event updates from directly from WestCoastGearHeads.com. We send email event reminders with 40+ local GearHead events for that week. And although we also send special announcements, we do not spam or clutter your email inbox. Our CALENDARis full of events... we're filling it up with 2012 events getting ready for the new year! REGISTER now, if you don't like what we do you can always remove yourself from the emails or cancel your registration at any time.
This event was like a reunion, lots of people came to me asking when we are bringing back the "Cruizin' with Johnny Rockets Camarillo Car Meets." It fired us up and got us thinking about future events at Johnny Rockets Camarillo... Did I mention they are opening another store in Oxnard in 2012? It will be the first of its kind for all Johnny Rockets worldwide! They have a huge parking lot AND are already planning a grand opening GearHead event! More on their Oxnard store later.
2012 is gonna be a great year for GearHead cruises and car meets in Ventura County!
Here are the first few photos... If you have some, reply to this message and post them up.
See if you can spot Noel Salvatore in these photos... He played a huge part in the success of this event. Noel is helping with the 5th Annual Citrus Balloon Classic (we'll post more info on this website soon) and is the organizer of the Fallfest Car Show that was a big hit in 2011. If you need help organizing a car event, send a note to NASTYNOEL on this website.
Other special guests were Dedria Brunette - Miss California International 2011, the firemen from Station 50 in Camarillo, and Santa Claus himself!
I'll post-up more photos of the line-up the Fire truck escorted cruise later. We had a ladder truck in front, Santa Claus in his '32 Ford vert next with another Fire Engine bringing up the rear... Very Cool!
Please log-in and post any photos you may have of this event.
More photos to come...
