Eric B. are you the one that had a BBK throttle body installed (before the SC install)? Did you do the install or did a shop do it?
Anyone here have any thoughts on upgrading stock to 62mm on a stock GT?

Wasn't me.
Have you been schooled by a Ford lately?
It might gain a little HP up top, but nothing big will be seen without a power adder or some heads/cams.
The swap isn't too bad. 4 bolts hold the thing on, then swap over the factory electronics to the BBK unit. I did a Ford Racing TB on the Shelby, which was especially easy since it already had the electronics on it. Just 4 bolts and a connector.
Ford Racing makes a 3v unit, M-9926-3V. This one includes the electronics already, so it is a simple swap. It's about $499, maybe less if you shop around.
I don't think it will make a difference at all without a power adder.

I was looking at the BBK site. They show a before / after dyno with about 10-15HP gains. The install video states that the stock motor already had a BBK CAI installed, which they claim adds about 10-15 RWHP. which would explain the 276 rwhp base. The increase was right around a 15HP gain.
Some BBK owners claim better throttle response, others say they don't feel a bit of difference... great, another product that seems to be opinion based.
