CAR #02-004 Out of a Build of 4
In 2002 Roush Performance decided to build 4 Prototype 2002 Roush Mustang 380R Press
Cars to test the Car Enthusiast Market. They wanted to determine how the vehicle
would be received by the performance market and start official production of the
Roush 380R in 2003. All 4 cars were stage 3 Supercharged with the complete 380R
options. All were painted torch red with white stripes. These Cars were used as
Press Cars by Roush Performance Executives to generate publicity and to display at
important Car Shows across the nation, ie: SEMA show, La Auto Show, Detroit Show,
and the New York Auto Show. This particular one was built for Roush Performance
Executive, Steve Ford, and after he had it for 7 months and 8,300 miles it was then
sold to Brandon Ford Roush Dealership in Florida.
I have the original Roush window sticker and this is what is on it:

I added New BAER front rotors and new Hawk front brake pads,
Installed a J/L amp and a J/L subwoffer. Has factory original stereo with 6 CD
changer.

It has 40,000 miles
I have all of the documentation for this car to be the real thing, including a
letter from Roush confirming all of the Core and Optional Components.
It has always been garaged and well maintained and treated like a baby. Z rated
tires are all in fantastic shape.
